By now you know I no longer work at Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers. Leading up to my departure, I've been consistently asked three big questions.
Why are you leaving?
The company has doubled five times since I joined. We recently completed our five year plan created in 2010 and just recently released our 2020 plan. As the Company looks forward to continued expansion, I'm looking forward to exploring a new calling of working to transform the way we take good workforces and make them great.
Do you have another job?
I don't have another job and I'm currently not looking for a job. My primary job for the next few months will be to reflect and relax on the amazing journey I've had thus far. That time will certainly include some travel. If you're curious, follow me on Instagram.
What will you do next?
Hospitality is a part of my DNA. After reflecting and relaxing, I believe I'll work on restaurant-specific, people-specific consulting opportunities under a new company name, Good Workforce. My work will be focused on transforming the way we measure & manage the world’s hourly workforce to improve the lives of workers and improve the bottom line of employers. More about this later.
Thank you sincerely for your interest and support of me over the past 14 or so years. It's been an amazing journey. The journey will continue. And, there is magic in new beginnings.
